To break away from the traditional single-row rod stand design, Okuma adopted a triangular structure, which allows the stand to remain more stable — even when holding combo rod-and-reel setups — preventing it from tipping over easily. In addition, compared to conventional screw-assembly structures, this new rod stand uses mostly snap-fit joints, significantly reducing the need for screws. This not only speeds up assembly but also provides better stability and minimizes wobbling. A carrying handle has also been added for easier movement and transportation of the rod stand.
