The Okuma Tesoro 2000 LDJ (Lever Drag Jigging) reel is a lever drag jigging reel engineered for serious saltwater anglers who demand power, control, and long-term durability. Built on a rigid one-piece 6061-T6 machined aluminum frame with forged side plates, the Tesoro LDJ delivers the structural integrity needed for high-drag jigging applications. It’s perfectly suited for vertical/mechanical and slow pitch jigging, combining strength and smooth operation to perform under extreme pressure. The cold-forged, Type-II anodized spool ensures consistent performance, while Okuma’s Carbonite Dual Force Drag system delivers up to 46 pounds of max drag with smooth, controlled power.
Every detail of the Tesoro LDJ is optimized for saltwater performance. The Triple Anti-Reverse system uses dual one-way bearings and a mechanical backup for rock-solid hooksets, while the XL stainless steel gearing and Flite Drive system offer high torque and fluid cranking. A convenient Spool Lock lets anglers break off snags quickly without damaging internal components. Paired with a machined aluminum power handle and EVA T-bar knob for maximum leverage, the Tesoro LDJ stands out as a top-tier jigging reel built to dominate deep water battles.
